The Make-Up of Shakespeare

This class will focus on teaching how the world of fairies
in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream is created through the magic
of make-up. Come and see how your appearance can change right before your eyes
as you experience the art of theatrical makeovers.

A Study of A Midsummer Night's Dream
Tuesdays
May 11, 18, 25 and June 1
4:00pm- 6:00pm
($75 per person for 4 classes)
This four part workshop is open to all ages and will focus on the history of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Discussion will include the storyline and background, along with studying some of the most famous productions of that time period. Students will learn about various performers who have acted in roles of A Midsummer Night's Dream and gain an understanding of how they dealt with the challenges and uniqueness of this Shakespearean masterpiece.
